Round Up: “Achievable”

We are at 80% of our goal for the Annual KWMR Pledge Drive! Be the runner who picks up the struggling marathoner in the last 200 yards and helps them across the finish line! Be a local hero who pitches in to help the scrappy local radio station stay on track financially! Be the donor who held out to “see how they did,” then swoops in and makes the gift that closes the gap!

We have $19K yet to raise and have extended the Pledge Drive through tomorrow, Wednesday, May 7. Last week, 3,332 of you opened the Round Up email. If each of you donated just $5.75 today, we would achieve our goal. Some people won’t give, others will give more to make up for it, but this seems super achievable! More achievable than the first 80%, which we already have in the bag.

We sure had fun at KWMR Day. It was great. Delicious taco plates, ice cream cones with lightning bolt sprinkles, cookies, oysters, music, delicious beverages, a kick butt raffle and some booty shaking. Thanks to all of the volunteers that pitched in! This little staff could not have pulled that off without the assistance of so many awesome helpers.

Let’s clear this horse stuff up. Yes, I am aware that one of the four legged creatures in my photo is a mule. It’s the Morgan Horse Ranch, let me know when they amend the name. One of our DJs, DJ Charlie V. amended the photo to be more Pledge Drive-like.
